Garfield Community Center is on the corner of E. Cherry St and 23rd Ave - driving directions.

Driving directions are below to the Douglass-Truth Library in Seattle 2300 E. Yesler Way Seattle, WA, 98122.

Our monthly meetings are held in the Meeting Room on the main floor of the Douglass-Truth Library, located at 2300 E Yesler Way, Seattle, WA, 98122.

From I-5 take the James St. Exit near downtown Seattle. If you’re southbound, use exit 165A, then take a left at James St. If you're northbound, use exit 164A instead and take a right at James St. You’ll be going uphill, back under I-5.

At the crest of the hill you’ll cross Broadway, and as you proceed downhill you’ll notice that through the magic of the Seattle street system that you’re now driving on Cherry. Follow Cherry until you reach 23rd, where you should take a right. Proceed South about 6 blocks until you reach the intersection of 23rd and Yesler. Take a left onto E. Yesler Way and you’ll immediately notice the Douglass-Truth Library on your left.

Free street parking can be found all around the library. If you get there early, we may have coffee, tea and something to nibble on waiting for you.

Further information about the library can be found at http://www.spl.org/default.asp?pageID=branch_open&branchID=9.
