Tricia Barker

Picture

Tricia Barker was a senior at the U of Texas, and an agnostic…when a massive head-on collision and the ensuing surgery freed her from her body. Tricia could now see her bleeding body below and a surgical team carefully removing fragments of 3 shattered vertebrae from around her spinal cord. The surgeons were not alone. Nearby Tricia saw two 9 foot angels guiding the surgeon’s hands. One of them communicated to Tricia “You’re going to be okay. We’re here to help you.” Then Tricia left the OR and traveled into the Cosmos where she was drawn by her growing connection with God. Tricia has since written a book in which she shares
the new spiritual understandings she gained from this NDE.
About her book:
“This is one book you won’t want to miss! Angels in the OR is exceptionally beautiful and enthralling."  Jeff Long M.D., author of “Evidence of the Afterlife”.

“Angels in the OR is a book of profound spiritual wisdom. The light and infinite love of God often shines through Tricia Barker’s words.”  Dr. Ken Ring, author of “Lessons from the Light.” This Tricia will share.

Currently Tricia is an English professor at Fort Worth, Texas, where she has taught and enabled junior high, high school and college students to also find greater inner peace. Tricia’s essays and poetry have been published in the Paterson Literary Review and the Midwest Quarterly. Her NDE has been presented in Women’s World Magazine, Simple Grace Magazine, and the National Geographic. She has made television appearances on “A&E I survived: Beyond and Back” and “The Dr. Oz Show.”
