Seattle IANDS

Seattle International Association for Near-Death Studies

SPECIAL EVENT!

June 13, 2020
1:30 - 3:00PM PST online meeting via Zoom (see below)
UPDATE ON SEATTLE IANDS 38th YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPEAKER

Sadly, our guest speaker Ken Ring, PhD, has had to cancel due to a medical problem
related to his vocal cords.

Happily, another “living legend” and a co-founder of IANDS Bruce Greyson, MD, will be speaking instead.

Bruce Greyson, M.D., is the Chester Carlson Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia.  He co-founded the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), and served for many years on the Board of Directors, as IANDS’ President, Director of Research, and for 25 years, Editor of the Journal of Near-Death

Instructions for meeting
Because of COVID-19 precautions and building closure,
Seattle IANDS will not meet until further notice.

Studies. Bruce’s research has focused on the aftereffects of near-death experiences, and has resulted in more than 100 publications in academic medical journals. He is the co-editor of The Near-Death Experience: Problems, Prospects, Perspectives (1984) and of The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences (2009), and author of After: A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal About Life and Beyond (scheduled for release March, 2021).
There will also be plenty of time for Q&A, a wonderful opportunity given that when Dr. Greyson gives presentations there is never enough time to answer all the questions that attendees pose.
(Note from Kimberly Clark Sharp: Dr. Greyson is the most prolific researcher on the subject of near-death experiences in the world and will be sharing information on his decades of research, how he came to co-found IANDS and information on his much anticipated sure-to-be-a-best-seller book. This my friends, is an event you will NOT WANT TO MISS!”)

The first two online Seattle IANDS meetings
via Zoom have been a huge success!
